SIngapore (Nov.26-Dec.2 2009)

  • Nov. 21st, 2009 at 8:42 PM

Will spend Thanksgiving and my pre-birthday in Singapore. We have a long weekend at work so I grab the opportunity to have a short and much anticipated vacation at the Lion City.

If you have a "pabili", make sure you give me the money and an interest for the effort and excess luggage fee if there's any. LOL

If there's anyone who is staying there or will be there during my visit. Hit me back! :)

RIP Cory!

  • Aug. 1st, 2009 at 5:46 AM

Abs-cbn news website confirmed former Pres.Cory Aquino's death this morning 3:18 am.

"Our mother peacefully passed away at 3:18 a.m. August 1, 2009 of cardio respiratory arrest. She would have wanted us to thank each and every one of you for all the prayers and your continued love and support. It was her wish for all of us to pray for one another and our country. Hinihiling po ng aming pamilya ang konting panahon para makasama namin ang aming mahal na ina," a statement from the Aquino family read.

I'm really moved and saddened by her untimely death (read: wanna see more of her).

My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones and to all the Filipinos who unconditionally loved and supported her.

What Kind of Fast Food Are You?

  • May. 8th, 2009 at 1:47 PM

You Are a Burger
You are a down to earth person and a straight shooter. You don't fall for fads or trends.
You are stable and a bit old fashioned. Tradition and loyalty are important to you.

You are a good friend and you like to have a good time. You find it easy to kick back.
You're not one to make waves in life. You're happy just to be a part of the fun.

Sometimes, things can just go crazy like no one could ever imagine or wish for. Even how hard you try to avoid it, they just don't go as where they should be. It gets to your head and suddenly you feel so demotivated and helpless. You wanna keep the drive and rage but everything seems to fall apart. What's ironic is, you're not demanding for something or asking too much, you just keep it simple and plain, you don't want any complications, you're just contented of what you know you deserve (well, just for now). Why prolong the agony if you know at the end, they still gonna spit on you. You've never asked too much and you've never been given more than what you asked, then what's the point. Honestly, I really don't know..maybe I just need to accept sometimes things happen beyond our control.Anyway, I trust God with all his selfless plans for all of us. It's never too late, never too difficult and never too impossible.

Yes, you got it right! I'm so in love..oops! it's not what you think..I'm in love with Pepper Lunch!!!

Who says valentine is just for couples/lovers? Singles like me could still enjoy this day with
good friends and most especially with great food, and that's what Pepper Lunch has offered
me. See to believe and eat your hearts out!

J
ona, me and Trina

Jona's beef pepper rice

Trina's meat and hamburger steak combo

and my Chicken Teriyaki..yummy!

Just for the sake of PL's mouth-watering molten milk chocolate cake and kuromitsu ice cream, I had to do  one of the bravest dare I've ever done in my life..to kiss a girl on the lips haha! that is for PL's valentine promo. Couples who gonna kiss on the lips upon ordering will get those sinful indulgence absolutely for FREE! I know we're not couple but I guess that counts coz we ended our sumptuous lunch with those desserts.Right Ms.C? hehe..

Awww! I'm getting a year older...

  • Dec. 2nd, 2008 at 12:50 PM

As the popular commercial line says 'It's ok to be 40 as long as you look 30."

But for me "It's ok to be 27 as long as I look like just 23..haha"

A day from now, I'm getting a year older again..another year to be thankful for the countless blessings that
God has been consistently pouring in my life. Age is just a number, I know being in this world is more than any figure.

LIFE AT VICTORY

  • Nov. 24th, 2008 at 10:40 AM

I love my weekend especially my Sunday. After quite a long absence, I attended the church service at Victory the Fort with a good friend James. We graced the 5pm service then had our dinner at Greenbelt 3. We tried the newly opened Ray & Pete's Texas Smoke 'Em. It passed our taste buds anyway :) We also watched The Women at GB cinema. The movie was light and fun.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a catholic or should I say a Catholic-Christian.
I haven't converted to any religion yet and not too soon.

In my personal belief and opinion, it doesn't matter what religion a person has,
what matters is one's personal relationship with God.

If I'm not mistaken, last Sunday was the 3rd time I attended the church service at Victory at the Fort and everytime I'm there, I feel a different feeling of excitement, happiness and contentment. Since the first time I decided to spend my Sunday afternoon  in the service (thanks to a good friend-James) I enjoyed it and I felt God's loving presence in my life. I became aware of Life's wonderful opportunities, God's bountiful blessings and I still find myself fortunate of what I have right now. I might not have (at least for now) the luxuries or things I'm longing to have but I'm still grateful I have the things that can't be compared to any luxury in this world- my family, friends and my Creator.

Last minute decision for me..t'was all worth it..fun fun night..

From the concert at The Fort Open Field to the after concert party at Alchemy..

They were both HOT! I SWEAR

I didn't take a lot of pics at the concert itself since they were so tiny from where we were (middle)

I just enjoyed the music and their performance. ;)

It was hard to to take pictures of them, these are the best shots I've got at the after concert party at Alchemy

More hard-to-get and stolen pics (i hate their security/bouncers =p )at my multiply account ;)

What Is Your Life Path Number?

Your Life Path Number is 8
Your purpose in life is to help others succeed

You are both a natural leader and a natural success. You are also a great judge of character.
You have a head for business and finance. You know how to make money.
A great visionary, you can see gold where other people see nothing.

In love, you are very generous - with gifts, time, and guidance.

You love to inspire people, but it can be frustrating when they don't understand your vision.
Great success comes easily for you. But so does great failure, as you are very reckless.
You are confident, and sometimes this confidence borders on arrogance.

hmmmm...

Wala lang!

  • Sep. 24th, 2008 at 7:30 PM

I've been so quiet and tame these past few days just right after our team building at Tagaytay. I really don't know if it's just because of the weather or I feel like doing something but i don't know what..weird noh? I'm also thinking it might be because of the "ber" months. I'm pressured or should I say I'm overwhelmed with too much anticipation with what's gonna happen. My bestfriend's sister will take her vow and will say goodbye to singlehood this friday. Of course I'm invited but I'm afraid I can't come because of my schedule. RSVP pa naman since only closest family and friends lang ang invited. Ayoko din mag-isip ng isusuot,   nakaka-pressure!  My mom will be coming back home this Oct.2 and need to pick her up at the airport. I need to file a leave or worse be absent. My younger brother's birthday is on the same day too. Then Halloween's also just around the corner. US thanksgiving is also set in 3rd week of November, since I work  for US Campaign that will be a long weekend for me. I'm not sure where will I be then. I'm planning for Boracay again ( i was there November last year with my ex..arrg! forget about it! hehe bitter lang?) or travel to Macau or Hongkong. I'm more pressured come december since this is my birthday month. I'm getting a year older again. I know age is just a number but I'm more concern about my future...I mean at this point of time, I'm still confused with what path to take..I would say I'm not totally in bliss with what I have or what I am right now, I'm still yearning for something better. After my birthday, Christmas na naman, hearing christmas carols and seeing christmas lights/decorations make me freak out  more. Sakit sa ulo ang gastos and its really hard to do christmas shopping because most of the malls are crowded.. I hate it! Im having a hard time to choose the right gifts too for loved ones and friends..haay..ano ba 'to? Why I'm so like this? Why can't I just take things one step at a time? I hope this feeling would pass soon..I'm not liking it at all!

Weekend at Tagaytay

  • Sep. 23rd, 2008 at 8:07 AM

I was not that excited when I knew that B2B campaign/DLP will have a Team Building at Tagaytay. It is only because I had other other plans for the weekend.

I told myself I won't enjoy  but  I guess I was wrong for many reasons:

First, the place was so relaxing and the villa we stayed was so sotyal! Thanks to Hotel Dominique, their villas were named after our trees. We stayed at Kamagong but we always tell the front desk officer to charge all our extra requests to Narra (our VP's villa). hehe ;) The other group stayed at Acacia.

Second, we were abundant with food (literally especially with egg, banana, buko pie)

and PIZZA! (we ordered a lot, ooops..sorry Gracious Lord)

Bonded with unexpected new friends and had our own version of Iisa Pa Lamang Photoshoot ;) Thanks to our ever reliable camera phones :)

A friend forwarded a link, i didn't  have any idea that it was a quiz about getting to know yourself better.. I was just amazed by the result. I know I'm a loyal Globe user for a long time but pardon me..let me just borrow Smart's latest ad- "Me na Me" ;)

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend - you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education

You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
